Background
Dr Sylvie Flais completed her medical education and radiology specialisation in France, at the University Paris V, Necker Enfants Malades. She qualified in 1988 and moved to the UK in 1998. She started working in the NHS in 2001, at first as a general radiologist and then as a dedicated breast radiologist since 2004. Dr Flais started working with the breast cancer screening services at Charing Cross Hospital in 2007.
