Why choose us for your private pregnancy ultrasound scans?
Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most precious journeys, and choosing the right place for your scans can transform how supported and reassured you feel. At Imperial College Healthcare Private Healthcare, we create an experience that is calm, personalised, and centred entirely around you and your baby.
Every scan is performed by our highly experienced consultant obstetricians, the same trusted specialists who care for women across the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital and the Clayton Ward at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital.
We are connected to the renowned Fetal Medicine Unit at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the UK’s most established and respected centres for fetal medicine, internationally recognised for its clinical excellence and pioneering research. This gives our patients access to world leading expertise, advanced diagnostics and innovative treatment options.
Our advanced ultrasound technology produces exceptionally clear, detailed images, giving you accurate assessments along with a beautiful and memorable first look at your baby.
Above all, we create a peaceful, nurturing environment where you can relax, feel reassured, and take the time you need to connect with your pregnancy.
What is an ultrasound scan?
A pregnancy ultrasound is a safe, gentle imaging technique that uses sound waves to create real-time pictures of your baby.
There is no radiation, no discomfort, and no risks to you or your pregnancy. An ultrasound allows our consultants to monitor your baby’s development, confirm the wellbeing of the pregnancy, and provide clarity at every stage. It also offers a uniquely emotional moment: seeing your baby move, grow and develop long before birth.
