Your pregnancy is one of the most exciting times of your life. At Imperial College Healthcare Private Care, we will help you enjoy your journey with the support of our expert team in comfortable, private surroundings.

Families have trusted us for generations at this special time, and we have an enviable international reputation for private maternity care at both the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital and the Clayton Ward at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital.

We offer two packages of care for maternity patients: consultant-led care and midwifery-led care.

Consultant-led care is led by a consultant obstetrician supporting both high and low risk pregnancies in partnership with a dedicated team of experienced midwives to provide continuity of care throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

Midwifery-led care is for people anticipating a straightforward pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey, where a team of experienced midwives will be the main care providers. Each midwifery-led care client is linked with a named consultant obstetrician in case additional medical support is needed.

In partnership with you, we will create a safe, personalised care plan that suits you and your baby for every stage of your pregnancy and birth; from deciding whether consultant-led care or midwifery-led care is the best option for you, to offering in-depth antenatal classes and extra support after your baby has been born. We have a range of maternity packages or optional extras to suit all your needs.

Being linked to a major NHS hospital and a specialist neonatal care unit means our team has the expertise and capacity to respond quickly to any complication, 24 hours a day, offering the best chance of the safe birth of your baby.
